Technical Sales Manager - Cosmetics 

We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to join RAHN’s growing Cosmetics team, focusing on the French-speaking region of Switzerland (Swiss Romandie). This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional with expertise in raw materials for the cosmetic industry, ideally with a background in laboratory work or previous experience in chemical raw material sales. This role is based out of our Zürich office, with regular travel to clients and industry events in the Swiss Romandie region. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients in Swiss Romandie while identifying and developing new business opportunities. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, offering scientific and technical expertise to meet client needs. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored, solution-oriented proposals for clients. 
  • Represent RAHN at industry trade shows, conferences, and events to expand market presence. 
  • Monitor market trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. 

Your Profile:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or a similar role within the cosmetics industry, ideally focusing on raw materials. 
  • Background in laboratory work or hands-on experience with raw materials for cosmetics is a strong plus. 
  • Solid knowledge of the cosmetics market, particularly in the Swiss Romandie region. 
  • Strong technical understanding of raw materials for cosmetics, with the ability to effectively communicate concepts to clients. 
  • Fluent in French, and very good language skills in German, and English, both written and spoken. 
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently while demonstrating excellent teamwork. 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a solution-driven approach to client needs. 
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Swiss Romandie and occasionally beyond.
