Business Development Manager - Cosmetic Active Ingredients
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a self-driven team player who is passionate about relationship management and business development. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales USA, you will spearhead customer sales and business development in the dynamic cosmetics field and its related industries across strategic territories. Based in New York or New Jersey, you are given the freedom to operate independently, responsible for the East Coast and Midwestern territory and clients, leveraging the expertise and resources of dedicated teams in both the US and our Swiss headquarters to drive exceptional results.
- Drive sales activities, conduct regular customer visits, and deliver product presentations to enhance commercial and technical efficiency in managing RAHN's business with customers.
- Develop and maintain key industry contacts to strengthen business relationships.
- Cultivate new customer relationships, initiate projects, and hunt new business opportunities within the Cosmetics industry.
Your Profile:
- Scientific background with expertise in personal care raw materials and active ingredients.
- Minimum 2+ years of sales experience in a similar role within specialty ingredient companies in the Personal Care/Cosmetics fields, preferably focusing on cosmetic active ingredients.
- Demonstrated success in new business development and account management within the Cosmetics industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Self-awareness and a growth mindset, coupled with tenacity and self-reliance.
- Flexible and open-minded, yet able to prioritize effectively.
- High flexibility and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
- Proactive, outgoing, self-confident, and customer-oriented team player.
- Must reside in the Greater New York/New Jersey Metropolitan Area to facilitate client visits.
