HEAD OF REGULATORY AFFAIRS AND SUSTAINABILITY  - EnergyCuring Division

Key Responsibilities:

  • Passion for Regulatory and Sustainability:
    • Enjoy the regulatory and sustainability world, staying up to date with its growing complexity and related business implications
    • Understand the vital role of Regulatory Affairs and Sustainability in supporting customers
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead a team of 7, ensuring effective organization and coordination of their activities and processes
    • Support the division's business objectives from a regulatory and sustainability perspective
  • Division Strategy:
    • Contribute to the division strategy by incorporating regulatory and sustainability dimensions
    • Implement the ENC Sustainability Division strategy and drive its roadmap implementation
  • Networking and Representation:
    • Establish yourself as RAHN's representative within different interprofessional regulatory groups
    • Engage with various regulatory and sustainability departments of customers and suppliers worldwide
    • Provide first-class product stewardship support
  • Collaboration and Compliance:
    • Collaborate with product managers and the R&D department from the early stages of product development to ensure new products meet regulatory requirements
    • Proactively identify solutions to upcoming regulatory changes and challenges
    • Ensure efficient coordination and communication with all involved stakeholders

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry or a related field
  • 7 to 10 years of Regulatory Affairs and/or sustainability experience within the chemical industry
  • At least 3 years of experience in leading a regulatory team
  • Knowledge of UL WERCS IT regulatory system and experience with polymer and acrylate chemistry are a plus
  • Comfortable working transversally across departments
  • Strong customer-oriented skills, both internally and externally
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Flawless communication skills in German and English
