DEFENSIL^®-PURE ECO is a water-based, fermented millet extract that is produced in very much the same way as sourdough bread. Designed for especially dry skin, it hydrates and strengthens the skin barrier immediately. It is suitable for use on atopic skin and promotes a healthy skin microbiota.

An analysis of the fermented millet extract showed that fermentation results in a greater release of important minerals compared to plain millet extract.
