AQUARICH^® contains free amino acids, proteins, polysaccharides from one of the most ancient oats in Europe – the black oat (Avena strigosa) – and a soy-derived phosphatidylcholine, lecithin. This intelligent blend of natural water-retaining substances, proteins and amino acids improves the structural architecture of dehydrated and stressed hair.

If hair is subject to chemical, mechanical or heat stress, damage to hair shafts can result. Cuticles may scale off, split ends develop, and even total abrasion may occur. Cortex cells lose their cementing properties and the tensile strength of hair fibres diminishes. Ex-vivo studies revealed remarkable improvements to the surface of hair. Cuticles were restructured and resealed. Tensile strength significantly improved and formation of split ends was decreased.
